The Vredestein Tyres brand is historically known as a Dutch Tyre Company / brand with head offices in Enschede, the Netherlands, with origins dating back to 1909. However, in 2009 it was acquired by the Indian tyre giant Apollo Tyres. Over six million summer, winter and four-season car tyres are still manufactured in the Netherlands every year, and a number of Vredesteins high quality agriculture tyres are made there too, in addition to the supplemented production facilities now based in Hungary and India. Vredestein already had a strong reputation in Europe and the U.S. and now thanks to the takeover by Apollo Tyres Ltd, Vredestein’s is becoming well known in the Asian and Middle Eastern markets too.
