Mobile On-site Tyre Fitting

When you buy your Agricultural or Plant tyres from us they will be dispatched to you on a courier delivery service. Once you have received them successfully you can then simply call us to book in your tyre fitting. Our fitters can normally be on site the next working day.

There is an on-site callout charge to pay, and then a fitting fee for each tyre fitted, along with an optional disposal fee if you wish us to dispose of your old tyres (or they can be left on site to avoid paying this fee).

Fitting slots are available day or night, Monday through Sunday, though the on-site call out fee varies depending on the day & time. Please refer to the table opposite for the charges involved. *Please note that these rates are based on site arrival time and not the time of call for service. All prices are shown excluding VAT.

Please be aware our fitters only work with steel wheels, so cannot fit tyres to alloy wheels unless a damage waiver is signed / agreed. Please also note that a failed call out fee of £60 + VAT will be charged if the on-site fitters cannot carry out the work due to a fault of the customer (i.e. incorrect tyre size has been ordered, or no-one is on site when they arrive).

If you are buying your forklift tyres from us and need fitting please tell us at time of ordering to ensure you get our best fitting rates. Big Tyres work alongside the industry leading fitters to ensure your pneumatic or solid forklift tyres get fitted safely and quickly.

A professional fitter will bring your new tyres to site within 2-4 working days (as standard) and fit them using specialist machinery. There is a call out fee to pay, then a fitting fee for each tyre fitted, and an optional disposal fee (or your old tyres can be left on site to avoid this fee). 

Please note that solid forktruck tyres with a rim size over 20", and press-on bands over 15", may be required to be collected from site and fitted at the nearest depot using a larger static press. This will result in two callout fees being charged - one to collect, one to deliver (the same day).

The whole of the UK is catered for though some very very remote parts of the UK may pay a slightly higher call out fee. Evening callouts are not possible. Weekend callouts could be arranged but callout fees can be around £150!

Please note that a failed callout fee of £60 + VAT will be charged if the fitters are unable to complete the work through fault of the customer (i.e. no-one is on site when they arrive, customer has ordered the wrong tyre size, machine axle/hub are damaged and rims cannot be removed etc).

Our mobile fitting partners are able to fit to most standard UK domestic market Truck, Bus and Coach vehicles. They cannot offer fitting for Vintage, Military, Non Standard or non UK domestic market vehicles however due to the specific tooling and additional training required. In addition, please be advised our mobile fitting partners don't often carry the mobile wheel balancing machines needed to balance your tyres. If your wheels need balancing please contact us and where possible we will advise you of a non-mobile fitting centre that you can visit to have your tyres fitted and balanced. Please be aware that our mobile fitters only work with steel wheels, so cannot fit tyres to alloy wheels unless a damage waiver is signed / agreed.
